- I used to be SUPER obsessed with Ryan Cabrera. I bought all of his albums, posters, signed up for his newsletters, and every shit that a fan girl would do for her idol. I even used up all my phone credits just to vote for him on MYX Channel (music channel in the Philippines). My blog’s layout was always him. Obsessed. Full stop.
- I have scoliosis and my back hurts every single day. I’m still hoping that I won’t need surgery because just the thought of it scares the shit out of me but… yeah, we’ll see.
- When I was younger, I thought that children come automatically. Like, when 2 people get married, the heavens above would make the mum pregnant and, ta-da! babies are born. I think I got that idea because I asked my mum why some people have too many children and she said it was god’s plan.
- I used to be extremely religious. I joined church choirs and whatnot, I was a dedicated Catholic back then. I grew up and my faith died, I now consider myself as an agnostic. It’s kinda hard, considering the fact that I grew up in a very religious country and all of my relatives (as well as the people around me) believe in God.
- I still let my mum trim my finger/toe nails. She also cleans my ears. What would I do without her?
- I LOVE horror movies and it’s sad that all the guys I’ve dated despise those kind of films. When will I ever get the chance to snuggle my hubby whilst watching a very scary movie???
- I don’t know how to use chopsticks. I fail at being Asian :(
- Most of the time, I find myself rooting for the villain. For example, I wanted Voldemort to win… and for everyone to die in the film ‘2012’. No idea if it’s normal or not but I certainly hate it because obviously, protagonists win most of the time.
- My attention span is VERY SHORT. I cannot watch a movie without checking up on other stuff - it doesn’t matter whether the movie’s really great or not. It’s one of the reasons why I prefer going to the movie house; because that way, I have no option but to force myself to sit through the whole movie without checking my Facebook. My short attention span doesn’t only apply to movies, it pretty much affects my whole life. My friend Martin has come up with a way to at least try to lengthen my attention span; I’m also taking medications which would hopefully work :)
- I always day dream about having my own record label someday and signing up all the artists and bands on my iPod who aren’t signed (I have at least 10) I’m very business-minded and I can see myself doing this kind of stuff in the future. It’s also one of the reasons why I love giving commissions to freelancers :)

so you are one of the diehard fan of Ryan Cabrera
ReplyDeleteIsn't it weird what we believed as children? I think if kids are not given the whole answer, they just fill in the blanks themselves!
ReplyDeleteP.S I have no idea who Ryan Cabrera is.
Hey, I’m a great fan of Ryan, and love his almost all songs. I love “True”, “On the way down”, “I’ll remember you”. His songs are awesome and his voice is so romantic and touchy. I like Enrique, Bryan Adams, Backstreet Boys, Mariah Carey and Celion Dion. So, what do you think about them?
ReplyDeleteGreat to know about your sweet secrets. We all do have secrets which we share with our best friends only. I think women hardly keep secrets or weird ideas within them; it’s a difficult thing for them. Do post few more things.
ReplyDeletehi there dearie! i have scoliosis too and was put in a back brace fr a few yrs when i was a teen :( have u gotten it checked out? they usually take an xray to see how many degrees ur curve is. usually u only need an operation if it goes beyond 40 degrees. at my worst it was 35 degrees and after wearing the back brace and doing intensive back exercises daily, it went down to 15 degrees. get more than 1 opinion too cuz 1 doctor said theres nth i can do except wait fr it to worsen then operate! and i met my chiropractor who suggested exercises n the brace which saved me. sorry fr the long post but pls email me if u have any questions im happy to share :) mandy x

I also love horror movies! But I admit there are those horror movies that scared the shit out of me and I couldn't even go to the bathroom after watching. I'm talking about The Ring - Japanese and American version, The Grudge, Shutter, etc. Asian horror films FTW! :)
