Life in a nutshell: Serendipity

*Note: The neighbour's house alarm went off, so as I type this, I can actually hear the very annoying siren. This has been going on for like THREE hours. AAAHHHHHH!!!

After a 2-week break, uni (finally) resumed yesterday. We had an Economics test which is worth 25% of our total grade and I didn't even bother to study. For some reason, I totally lost motivation in a lot of things. Last semester, I was always on top of everything; I did my assignments on time, studied for exams really well, nagged Martin to study, etc. Things turned upside down this semester though. It's Martin who's now reminding me to study and do my requirements. He made me promise that I won't procrastinate starting today (it's a pinky promise so I actually need to do it. Pinky promises are sacred!)

We also had dinner at Denny's last night. Martin and I left earlier because we still had heaps of things to do. I also had a mild headache and wasn't actually paying that much attention to stuff around me so I ended up paying for the WHOLE table. My friends teased me and were like "thanks for the shout Gia, we love you!" (those cunts are lovely though, they deposited money on my bank account right away)

And now, here are some photos I've taken today:

Very yummy cupcake! I don't care if I become obese, cupcakes are to die for!

There's a funny story behind this song: Last night, Martin and I had a really deep conversation about a lot of stuff. Do you guys ever wonder how your life would be if you didn't meet a certain person? Or if you ever chose another direction? I was listening to this song (an earphone on my left ear, listening to him on my right ear) This song was playing when we were wondering how we're coping with life right now if we didn't meet. He's been my friend for less than a year but it seems like I've known him forever! We've done so much things for each other and it's hard to picture living a different life. He also said that "everything happens for a reason" and I truly believe that. Now you know the story behind my username.

I can now finally stalk our neighbours!  do some star gazing! So excited to use it!

I still have a lot of things to say (especially about the second photo) but the alarm is DRIVING ME NUTS!!! I'll probably continue talking about it later.

Did you post process them? I like the vintage feel of the photos. I hope the alarm goes off by now. Will definitely watch out for your next post! :)
